Birthdays are a HUGE deal at our house. So we plan to celebrate in big ways...like the whole weekend, instead of just one day. We celebrated Andrew all weekend and had a blast. Friday night started the celebration with Pei Wei, Saturday morning breakfast was piggies in an blanket and presents, Saturday afternoon was CAKE time, Saturday evening was hamburger tacos, and more Cake, Sunday was breakfast tacos and Sunday evening was Filet Mignon, Twice baked potatoes and veggies, and more CAKE!!! The weather was beautiful on Friday and Saturday so we enjoyed being outside, family walks, and trips to the park. On Sunday, the temperature dropped 50 degrees and there was ice on the ground, so we stayed inside to play. We had such a fun weekend and the girls loved helping open presents and being super sweet to their dad. And the cake...they both loved the cake.
Happy Birthday Andrew....this is our 17th birthday to celebrate together! Each year keeps getting better, I can't wait to see what this year brings. You enrich our lives with joy, laughter, time and love. You make us a priority and in doing so, you speak to our hearts and let us know that we matter and we are important. I couldn't imagine a better partner to be doing life together, you help to make life more enjoyable. We love you! Thank you for being a dad and husband that is a spiritual leader and points us to Jesus. You are a blessing to us! Thank you for all that you do.
Jacey's favorite thing every year is to help make the Peanut butter chocolate cake. She's a huge help, especially with cleaning the bowls! :)
