Leighton surprised us by making mommy go into labor on Friday, April 13. Bliss woke u on Friday not feeling well and decided to call the dr. The dr suggested we head to the hospital for some tests. The tests would only take a few hours so Jacey came with us. When beginning the tests on Bliss, the nurse informed us that Bliss was in early labor. The nurse called our doctor and we were told that Leighton was going to be born in an hour and a half. Andrew sprang into action and ran Jacey home, where are sweet neighbor volunteered to watch her until after Leighton's arrival. Bliss called her parents and they quickly packed up and headed to Dallas.
Andrew got back to the hospital at 3:05, quick changed into his scrubs and we walked to the OR. At 3:15 Bliss got her epidural and spinal block and at 3:41 sweet Leighton Halina was born.
What a day! We weren't expecting this to be Leighton's birthday but we are so thankful and blessed that she is here. Our family of 4 is complete and we are so honored that God gave us our 2 beautiful and precious girls.
