broken arm

This sweet girl broke her arm rather badly.  We went to the ER and orthopedist.  She's got an awesome yellow cast and is handling all of the pain like the rockstar that she is.  Dede and Buddy overnighted a package for her to feel better.  She was so excited.  

Leighon is a tennis player

Leighton decided to try tennis this fall and is doing so great.  She is so fun to watch.  She tries her best and is loving it. 

This girl is 9

This girl is the most loving, kind, caring, talented and absolutely extraordinary person.  We are not worthy to be her parents and feel truly blessed to be.  She is a gift from God and we are most thankful for her.  This past year has truly been her 'breakout year.'  She has grown in the Lord and amazes us every day.  

First Day of School

We are so excited about this school year.  The girls have absolutely the sweetest, most awesome teachers.  It's going to be an amazing year. 

Last Mother's Day tea

Today was a special day.  It was my 6th and final mother's day tea at our preschool.  It was so sweet and I soaked up every minute with precious Leighton.  She's been looking forward to the tea for several weeks and picked out my outfit and jewelry to look extra pretty for her.  

Summer 2017

We had such a wonderful summer.  It went by too quickly.  Here's a snapshot of what we did:

Beach 30a ~ so fun unplugging and spending time at the beach together

Minnesota ~ loved seeing our good friends and watching the girls play

Swimming with friends ~ we are so appreciative of sweet friends and fun together

lake house ~ we enjoyed getting together with Dede and Buddy

Jacey's dance recital was so fun and she did awesome

Art, Lego, Ice-cream camp and VBS kept the girls entertained

weekends spent in the pool and cooking and spa days together

Jacey's birthday party ~ movie, swimming, cake, donuts and sleepover
